It's the perfect size for one person, a close couple or a single parent with one child. There is a living room, bedroom, and a study. The bathroom was just redone a couple of months ago. We are getting ready to put in new carpeting and new paint. The food prep area is very small, but servicable. Julia Childs would die all over again if SHE had to cook in it, but it might work just fine for you.
We have not had good luck with cats. We don't hate them, I even had one once, but cat pee has a longer half-life than plutonium... if you have a cat we can talk about it.
